Insurance & Costs

Most treatments are covered by medical insurance

Because most varicose veins are caused by vein disease, their treatment is usually covered by insurance plans. Treatment is more likely to be covered if your vein symptoms interfere with performing daily activities.

We are on the following insurance plans:

Anthem, Aetna, Medical Mutual, Summa, UH Employee, United Healthcare, Cigna, Humana, Multiplan, Tricare, and Medicare.

For treatment that is not covered, we offer financing options such as CareCredit and will work with you to use your Health Savings Account (HAS) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA). This should help give you the financial peace of mind to get the treatment you need to relieve your symptoms of vein disease.

Paying with Care Credit

We accept CareCredit, which is a credit card designed specifically for out-of-pocket healthcare costs when medical insurance doesn’t cover your charges. You’ll have access to a revolving line of credit for medical expenses—usually including copayments and deductibles. A variety of financing term lengths, promotions, and APRs are available to meet your needs.

Applying for CareCredit is quick and easy. You can apply by phone or directly on the CareCredit website. Our office managers can also assist you with the application process in our office. Credit decisions are almost instantaneous, and you may be able to use your new account on the spot.
